Every design begins with an attempt to understand a place. Its history lives on in its built fabric as much as in the habits of the people who use it. We ask which qualities can be carried forward and how new needs can find space within the existing context. Our projects emerge from this exploration. They add a new layer to what is already there, one that expresses its own time while creating connections. Through the interplay of space, light and material, we seek an architecture that gains meaning in everyday life and can continue to evolve alongside people and the place they inhabit.
